Luminance Hyde Park — Window Display Installation
Commissioned for Luminance at Hyde Park Corner, this bespoke window installation was developed to enhance the retailer's visual merchandising environment through large-scale paper sculpture.
The objective was to create a striking storefront presence capable of attracting attention within a highly competitive retail setting while maintaining focus on the fashion collection itself. The installation consisted of a carefully curated selection of handcrafted paper flower designs produced at varying scales.
Rather than introducing a wide variety of botanical forms, a limited vocabulary of floral structures was intentionally repeated throughout the composition. This created visual cohesion and allowed the installation to integrate seamlessly with the broader window design.
The flowers were positioned to interact directly with the architectural geometry of the window and the surrounding display elements. Minimalist shelving, sculptural product stands, and the silhouettes of the mannequins all informed the final composition. The environment balanced softness and structure, using paper sculpture to introduce organic complexity within an otherwise highly controlled retail setting.
The result was a window display that functioned simultaneously as merchandising strategy, environmental design, and contemporary paper sculpture, creating a memorable customer experience while supporting the brand's luxury positioning.
